Lady Sens Announce U22 Assistant Coaches for 2025-26 Season
The Ottawa Lady Sens High Performance Program and the Kanata Girls Hockey Association are proud to announce the U22 Assistant Coaches for the 2025/26 season. Both coaches bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, having demonstrated their dedication to player development and high-performance hockey. Importantly, both assistant coaches are non-parent coaches, ensuring an unbiased and professional approach that prioritizes team success and individual growth.
Katrina is a highly motivated High Performance 1 Certified coach who has spent the past nine seasons coaching at the U15AA and U22AA levels for the Nepean Wildcats.
As an assistant coach next season, she will develop OLS players so they will achieve personal growth and elevate their level of play. Katrina believes in an environment that encourages development not only as hockey players, but also as individuals and members of the community. She is committed to fostering a culture where players feel safe and supported on and off the ice.
Ryan’s coaching experience began on the competitive boys side with the Nepean Raiders in the 90’s. Ryan then became involved for a total of 14 years combined, between coaching his daughters in the NGHA Competitive program at every tier from C to AA - the most recent being the Head Coach at U18A for the 2023-2024 season. Ryan has also assisted at the U Sports level locally in identifying and committing area players. He brings that networking ability to the OLS program.
Ryan’s coaching philosophies are firmly aligned with the direction that the OLS program is headed. He believes in a culture of accountability, effective communication, and helping the athletes see their value individually and as a group.
Ryan will be an assistant to Coach Fischer, working with our D corps.
Please join us in welcoming Katrina and Ryan to the program.
